Casa Rocca Cattery / Allevamento

These are pictures are to share with those of you who would like to visit us but can't. These are of our ca. 300 year old cottage, the garden, our plant and animal passions and the cattery spaces. Enjoy.
Enjoy!

Please feel free to call us for an appointment to see the cats or to inquire about the availability of kittens. We do not accept visitors to the cattery without appointment.

Details of our garden. Movement and elegance are an important part of the concept.

Persicaria "Red Dragon" - a favourite foliage plant.

One of 4 areas for the cats outdoors.
The same pen as on the left, the other side. The blue water tub is for their "swimming pool" ; )!

A corner of the cottage in the background, with our pebbled courtyard and gazebo.

Another detail from the garden - here an old metal bird cage covered in clematis and flanked with Chasmanthium uniola latifolia (Oat Grass) and Samubucus "Sutherland Gold" with an underplanting of Muhlenbegia japonica "Cream Delight".

Sambucus nigra "aureomarginata" - golden variegated Elderberry

Persicaria "Compton's Form", a personal favorite

Minohiki - colour akasaza

other play areas for our feline friends, in "the Shady Garden" right behind the house where we escape the summer heat.

Details from the garden - basrelief "carpet" - the story of our family in Romanesque style: the leopard cat can be seen toward the bottom of the picture.

"Aslan`s Fountain" garden detail.

Spuria irises, Hemerocallis and other summer perinnerials

The "Shady Walk" along the back cat play areas (above and below the border).

A part of our grassery. We really love the movement and low-key colours of greens on greens with touches of white, yellow and red variegation.
